Optimizing Hi-Rel Power Solutions for Space & Defense

Title: Optimizing Hi-Rel Power Solutions for Space & Defense… Balancing Needs, Performance & Budget
Live: December 4th, 2025 at 11am ET

As satellite constellations expand and geopolitical demands intensify, the need for high-reliability power supplies with shorter lead times and competitive cost targets has never been greater. Designers must balance technical performance, qualification standards, and supply-chain realities to meet mission requirements in both space and defense programs.

Conventional space- and military-qualified hermetic DC-DC power converters provide exceptional reliability but often at the expense of longer lead times and higher costs. Meanwhile, automotive and commercial-grade solutions offer faster availability and lower pricing but are not designed to meet the rigorous environmental and reliability standards required for mission-critical systems—leading to increased failure rates and orbital sustainability concerns.
This webinar explores emerging alternatives that deliver the required reliability and performance while maintaining cost efficiency. Presenters—experts in high-reliability DC-DC power conversion—will share insights into the latest design methodologies, qualification processes, and packaging innovations that help system designers achieve optimal trade-offs between performance, SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power), and cost.
Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of:

  • Key market drivers shaping space and defense power supply requirements
  • Best practices in design, testing, and qualification for high-reliability systems
  • Strategies for improving life-cycle sustainability and supply chain resilience
  • Application examples of three DC-DC conversion technologies engineered to meet evolving program needs

Join us to discover how the next generation of DC-DC power conversion technologies is enabling greater reliability, reduced cost, and faster deployment for advanced space and defense applications.
